Oh. Great.

What a dilemma.

I'm not quite sure what to do. It seems that I have found myself in what's known as a "happy place."

I found a great apartment to live in, and I just booked a part on Amy Poehler's new show, Parks and Recreation. I've been shooting all week, and it's pretty much the definition of Super Fun.

So, what am supposed to do with all of this sarcasm and jadedness I've still got in my pocket?

Write like the wind! You don't have to take the sarcasm and jadeness out on the people around you (especially where they don't deserve it), but it's gold for your creativity. And usually funny.

Traffic doesn't seem as bad, does it, jackass?

Write a book, turn it into a movie, get rich, blow it all on fast cars and blow in the hollywood hills, get on a reality rehab show.

You know, standard LA behavior.

Sarcasm and jadeness? That's what I thrive on and I'm using it up quickly these days. I'll take them off your hands for the time being.

The show's shot in LA? Huh. I thought they shot it in NYC.

As Skippy said, write your way out of this surplus of surliness!

When I first moved to LA I found myself waxing aimlessly for: wearing a light jacket during crisp October days… and… missing the smell of smoke from a recently stoked fireplace… add to this that I just found it weird the trees here look the same in the winter as they do in summer!

I had no idea that these things matter to me, let alone that I might miss them, until I came to a place that lacked them.

It takes a few years to get over this (3 for me) but if you do… I think you will be hooked with LA and not want to live anyplace else.

Besides, you get the bonus of LA being the best place to cultivate your sharp sense of sarcasm and jadedness’ - actually it might be too easy – kind of like shooting fish in a barrel.

Good luck – keep writing - you will do well.

Hoping that grammar does not count in a blog... does it?
